SRINAGAR: A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in the Humhama Chowk of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district, resulting in the death of a man. According to a report from the official news agency, Kashmir Scroll, the victim has been identified as Nisar Ahmad Dar, son of Gh Rasool Dar, a resident of Razeain Budgam.
The incident took place when Nisar Ahmad Dar was attempting to pull a cable while climbing a pole at Humhama Chowk. Unfortunately, he fell from the pole, sustaining severe injuries. He was immediately rushed to JVC Hospital in critical condition, but despite efforts to save him, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The local police have taken note of the incident and are investigating the circumstances surrounding it. (KS)
