Protests revisited Bandipora area on Wednesday against the continuous detention of a person who is scheduled to be married next week.
The detained identified by protesters as Feroze Ahmed Magray of Wazipora is running a shop in his locality.
The protesters demanding the release of Feroz alleged that police is not releasing the accused despite bail granted in his favour by the court.
They said that Firoze was picked up by Army men from his shop round a month ago and handed him over to police.
His family sources said that Feroze is scheduled to be married next week.
Pertinently, Bandipora town resumed its normal business only a day before after a continuous shutdown of five days. The shutdown was in protest against the arrests of youth.
