SRINAGAR: The body of a man, who had jumped into the river Jhelum in the Qamarwari area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar was fished out after three days on Saturday.
An official said that the man had jumped into the river Jhelum at Qamarwari Cement bridge in Srinagar on Wednesday 28th June 2023.
He added that the body was fished out from the river near the Panzinara area of Srinagar.
“After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family for last rites,” he said.
The official said that the police have already registered a case in this regard and are investigating the matter—(KS)
