SRINAGAR: Prominent journalist Manzoor Unjum’s lost his brother and writer Jawhar Qudoosi’s mother passed away.
Ghulam Mustafa Shah, elder brother of Editor Daily Uqab, Manzoor Anjum, passed away yesterday after a brief spell of illness. Hailing from Brain Nishat, Shah, 70, a businessman, he was unwell for some time. He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard at Barin Nishat. Fateh Khwani would be held there on Sunday, December 20.
Dr Jawhar Qudoosi’s mother also passed away early on Saturday. She was unwell for a long time. She died at her Chandrigam residence in Tral. The family has asked the people to pray for the departed soul and observe restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 SOP.
