Maruti Suzuki to Raise Vehicle Prices by Up to Rs 30,000 from August

SRINAGAR: Maruti Suzuki India will increase prices across its vehicle portfolio by up to Rs 30,000 from August 2026, citing sustained input cost increases and continued inflationary pressures, the company said on Tuesday.

In a regulatory filing, the country’s largest carmaker said it had been making continuous efforts to absorb rising costs through various cost-reduction measures. However, with inflationary pressures remaining elevated and the adverse cost environment persisting, the company has decided to pass on part of the additional cost burden to customers.

“The exact quantum of change will vary from model to model,” the company said.

The latest revision marks Maruti Suzuki’s second price hike this year. It follows a similar increase of up to Rs 30,000 implemented across its portfolio in June 2026.

The company had also attributed the June price revision to sustained input cost pressures and an adverse cost environment.
