Senior Hurriyat(G) leader and Muslim League deputy chairman Masrat Aalam Bhat was presented in the Court of Third Additional Sessions Judge on Monday after a gap of more than two months.
Masrat Aalam, the pioneer of 2010 uprising is undergoing sixth consecutive public safety act (PSA) since his arrest in October 2010. He is presently lodged in district jail Kathua and was presented before the court in connection of an old case registered in 1997 at Budgam police station, said a Muslim League spokesman.
Masrat was suffering from many ailments when he was arrested on October 18, 2010.
