One person was killed and few others injured when one wall of a Masjid fell down during its renovation work at Madianpora Lolab area of Kashmir’s district Kupwara.
According to SHO Kuligam Rafiq Lone, locals of Mir Mohalla Madianpora were digging the space for Hamam when one wall of Masjid collapsed. Two labourers were trapped under the debris.
He further said that once taken to hospital, one was declared dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Mir son of Habibullah Mir of Maidanpora.
Injured are being treated at hospital
