Masked men Thursday looted around Rs 8 lacs from a bank in Pulwama district.
Police officials said that four gunmen arrived in two vehicles and looted eight to ten lakh rupees after forcing their entry into a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank at Arihal.
“They barged into the bank, fired shots in air, broke computers and looted around ten lakh rupees,” he said.
The masked men, he said, were carrying AK-47 rifles.
