Moments after army and police in joint presser claimed that top LeT leadership has been wiped off after the encounter in Hajin, masked militants appeared in Hajin town and visited encounter site
According to reports, thousands of people assembled in Hajin town after three militants appeared in town on a bike.
Locals believed one of the militants was Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Mehmood Bhai.
Pertinently, Police has already declared that among the six slain militants killed in Saturday’s gun fight one was Mehmood Bhai.
Mehmood Bhai, a top rank LeT militant was responsible for multiple attacks on government forces in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the masked militants visited the encounter site and after paying tributes left the area.
“I am present in the town. Thousands of people are on roads chanting pro freedom and anti India slogans,” a local news agency quotes an eye-witness.
