The armies of India and Pakistan early Saturday traded heavy shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch.
Reports quoting sources said that the armies exchanged massive shelling in Saujiyan, Sajwan and Gagrain sectors of the district around midnight.
They said that a woman was injured due to shelling in Qasba Shahpur. She was hospitalized.
Reports of cross-LoC mortar shelling have also been received from Mankote area of Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar.
Sources said that intense shelling is going on in the KG sector since 9 am.
