SRINAGAR: A masjid and several houses were damaged in a massive fire that broke out in the Umer Colony area of Srinagar’s Eidgah, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that the fire broke out in Umer Colony this morning. “Fire tenders reached the spot shortly after.”
He said by the time fire tenders arrived, a local masjid and several houses were damaged. Efforts are ongoing to douse the flames.
