SRINAGAR: In a recent update, Yasin M Choudhary, the Deputy Commissioner of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir, took to twitter to address the significant landslide at Ratta Chamb.

He stated that the landslide is of massive proportions and will require approximately 1.5 days to clear. In light of this situation, Choudhary advised students from Poonch who have their Central University Entrance Test (CUET) examination centre in Srinagar to promptly make their way through Jammu or Reasi as an alternate route. The landslide poses a potential disruption to the regular route, necessitating this alternative course of action.

“Update – The Ratta Chamb land slide is a massive one and it will take us 1.5 days to clear. Students from #Poonch having CUET exam centre in Srinagar are advised to immediately proceed via Jammu or Reasi,” tweeted Choudhary.

Choudhary’s tweet serves as a crucial communication to ensure the safety and convenience of the students, allowing them to make necessary arrangements for their examination attendance.
