Tenth class annual results written by 50535 students were declared Tuesday with the first three positions shared by seven girls.

Maintaining the tradition, the girls have once again outshined boys in bagging the top slots. The boys, however, with pass percentage of 74.5 are leading the overall pass percentage followed by girls with 68.8 percent.

But as per the figures released by JK Bose, relatively less number of girls (23600) wrote exams than boys (26900).

However, the overall pass percentage stands at 71.85, one percent less than the last year.

The first position has been secured by Aneeka Shabir of Hajahad Public School Awantipora with 494 marks. The second position is shared by four girls, each securing 491/500 marks. Third position is shared by two girls with 490 marks. As per the JK Bose, first 20 positions are shared by 182 students.
