SRINAGAR: A 22-year-old MBBS student of Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla allegedly hanged himself to death in a hostel at Fatehpora area of the district.
Quoting sources news agency KDC reported that the incident occurred at a hostel in Baramulla district where the medical student was living on rent and was pursuing his MBBS degree from GMC Baramulla.
“The deceased is said to be a resident of Trikuta Nagar Jammu,” sources said adding, that police also rushed to the spot of the incident to take cognizance of it.
However, a case also has been registered by police in this regard, they said.
