The resident doctors of SMHS and associated hospitals Thursday alleged that manager of government dental college (GDC) Srinagar (name withheld), wherein he has defamed all the girl students of the dental college and “has made abusive, trash and lewd comments about the students”.
“We demand termination of the manager and strict action against law against the official,” a statement issued by the resident doctors association after holding an emergency meeting in GMC Srinagar, said this evening.
“The said official has been involved in many wrong doings in the hospital and even when the girls have been upraising the hostel warden and Principal Dental College Srinagar but they never acted against the said manager,” the statement said, “the actions and statement have hurt the confidence of the students and has bought a bad name to the institution.”
The doctors appealed Governor and advisor to Governor NN Vohra and Parvez Dewan to take cognizance of the matter and take strict action against the Principal Dental College Srinagar and the erring manager so that the prestigious institution is not degraded.
