SRINAGAR
Asking the government forces to exercise maximum restraint while operating in provocative situations, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep anguish over the unfortunate death of a youth at Batamaloo late last night.
According to spokesman, Mehbooba directed the forces to exercise maximum restraint while performing their duties in provocative situations and follow strictly the laid down SOPs in such cases.
Mehbooba has also condemned the killing of Bashir Ahmad of Qasbayar, Pulwama who was gunned down by unidentified gunmen.
Mehbooba, spokesman said has also sought a report from the Police about an incident of violence at Degree College Pulwama yesterday in which more than 50 students were injured.
