Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday met with the displaced families and victims of cross-border shelling in Poonch sector of Jammu.
“Met with displaced families & victims of shelling in Poonch this afternoon. A stark reminder that our future doesn’t only depend on the conflicts that take place, but more so on the solutions, we offer in response to them,” Mehbooba wrote on Twitter.
Following the shelling which started on Sunday morning in Balakote sector of Poonch, resulting in injuries to five soldiers and five members of a family were also killed and two others critically injured after a mortar shell landed on their house in Devta village of Balakote.
