SRINAGAR: Jammu Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti has expressed condolences over the death of A V Gupta, father of the party’s spokesperson and Youth Vice President Aditya Gupta.
In a statement, Mufti said A V Gupta dedicated his life to promoting communal harmony and strengthening ties between Jammu and Kashmir. She said that his contributions to dialogue and peace would continue to influence future generations.
“His unwavering belief in inclusivity and brotherhood made him a symbol of unity during times of discord. He firmly believed that Jammu and Kashmir’s strength lay in its diversity and worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between its people,” she said.
She extended condolences to the bereaved family.
