Mehbooba Mufti Visits Waheed Parra’s Residence, Offers Condolences

   

SRINAGAR: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti, along with party leaders, visited PDP Youth President Waheed ur Rehman Parra’s residence on Friday to offer condolences on his father’s death.

Mehbooba visited Parra’s residence in Naira Pulwama around noon to express her condolences on the demise of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Parra.

62-year-old Parra,  passed away late at night on Wednesday after a prolonged battle with stage IV cancer at his Naira Pulwama residence.

The PDP president expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the Parra family. “My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family in this hour of grief. May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah,” Mufti said at the condolence meet.

“I stand in solidarity with Waheed in this hour of mourning and unimaginable grief, praying to Almighty Allah to give them the strength to bear this inconsolable loss,” PDP Chief said.

Mufti was accompanied by party leaders from across the Kashmir Province.
