CM designate and PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti, Saturday called her political rival and former chief minister Omar Abdullah and invited him to the oath taking ceremony scheduled to be held on 4th of April in Jammu.
Omar tweeted, “Very gracious of Mehbooba Mufti Sahiba to phone & invite me to her oath taking ceremony.”
Tech savvy Omar after recieveing the call from Ms Mehbooba wrote on social networking site twitter about the development.
Notably, PDP-BJP caolition is expected to take Oath for government formation on the evening of fourth of April in winter capital Jammu.
The oath taking ceremony is expected to be a low-key affiar and is being held in Raj Bhawan.
While the alliance partners had tried to invite PM Narendra Modi to the function. However, it could not get materialized because of his foreign schedule. BJP President Amit Shah is also expected to attend the ceremony.
