The night temperatures in the Kashmir Valley continued to drop and minus 4.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Srinagar last night which is the lowest in the season so far.
“The minimum temperature was minus 4.4 degrees Celsius last night in Srinagar, which is this season’s lowest,” MeT sources said.
MeT has predicted moderate to heavy snowfall on December 13 and 14 in the higher reaches, they said, however the weather in plains will remain mostly dry.
