SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Department has forecast a brief spell of light rain and light snowfall at a few places across Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, followed by generally dry weather over the next four days.
According to the forecast, weather conditions are expected to remain generally dry from November 6 to 9.
A fresh spell of generally cloudy weather is likely on November 10 and 11, with light to moderate rain in the plains and light to moderate snowfall over higher reaches at scattered to many places towards the evening of November 10.
The department has advised people, particularly those travelling to higher reaches, to remain updated with weather advisories.
