SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Department has predicted wet weather in Jammu and Kashmir during the next two days.

Sonam Lotus, Director of Meteorological Department, said there is the possibility of a spell of rain with a thunderstorm in Jammu and Kashmir on July 20 and 21.

“There will be a bit of relief from the simmering heat which is being witnessed by the people here since past days,” he said.

“Weather would improve from Wednesday onwards,” he added.

The maximum temperature in Srinagar district was recorded at 31.8 degree Celsius.  In Jammu, the temperature touched 37.0 degrees Celsius and it reached 30.0 degree Celsius in Leh.
