A MiG-21 fighter-jet of Indian Air Force (IAF) that was on a practice flight Monday escaped miraculously after it developed a mid air technical snag.

Official sources told KNS, that the warplane left the technical airport at around 3 PM and had to make emergency landing after the pilot detected a technical snag.

“The aircraft had to make an emergency landing at around 3.30 PM,” sources told KNS. Terming the landing safe sources said that there was no loss of life in the incident.

Pertinently, in December 2002, a MiG-21 fighter aircraft of IAF had crashed into a house near the local air base here, killing a man and injuring his son.
