SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police along with security forces on Thursday said that it arrested a militant associate and recovered arms and ammunition during searches in Chotipora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A top police officer said that police along with Army’s arrested a militant associate in village Chotipora.
He has been identified as Abid parray son of Bashir Ahmad Parray, the official said.
From his possession incriminating material were recovered, the officer added.
Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(KS)
