SRINAGAR: Police on Sunday said that one among three militants killed in Reban gunfight was involved in Sopore attack, in which one CRPF man and a civilian were killed.
A police statement quoted IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar saying, “Pakistani LeT (militant) Usman among three killed in an encounter at Reban. He was involved in the recent attack at Sopore in which one CRPF jawan and one civilian were killed.”
He said that it is a big success for JKP and CRPF.
Earlier, a police spokesman said three militants were killed in a gunfight in Reban area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
