SRINAGAR: A militant was killed in a operation in Mumanhal Arwani area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday, an official said.

An official said that one militant has been killed in the encounter.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Mumanhal Arwani area in Anantnag on Friday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Arwani village of Anantnag district.
