SRINAGAR: A militant was killed during an attack on security forces in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, officials said.
Quoting a top official, KNO reported that militants targeted a naka party in the Watergam area of Rafiabad, but the attack was successfully repelled.
The official confirmed that in the retaliatory fire, one militant was killed. The entire area has been cordoned off.
