SRINAGAR: A militant was killed in an ongoing operation in at Nambal area in Awantipora town of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday, an official said.
An official said that one militant has been killed in the encounter in Nambal area of Awantipora.

He said that the gunfight broke out in Nambal area in Awantipora on Monday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Nambal village of Pulwama district.
