An unidentified militant was killed in an overnight gunfight with government forces in Magam forest area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources said that One militant has been killed in a brief exchange of fire in Magam forest area of Handwara so far.
The encounter started late last night at Tongawali Behak in Nowgam sector of LOC in north Kashmir’s Handwara after forces launched a cordon and search operation there following specific information about the presence of militants.
