SRINAGAR: A militant was killed during an ongoing encounter in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, the police said.

An official said that one militant has been killed in the encounter.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Ashmuji area in Kulgam on Saturday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Ashmuji village of Kulgam district.
