SRINAGAR: A militant was killed in an ongoing operation in Feeripora area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday, an official said.
An official said that one militant has been killed in the encounter.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Feeripora area in Shopian on Tuesday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Feeripora village of Shopian district.
