SRINAGAR: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing operation in Kandipora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, an official said.
An official said that one unidentified militant has been killed so far in the ongoing encounter.

He said that the gunfight broke out Kandipora area of Bijbehara on Wednesday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Bijbehara area of Anantnag.
