Army claimed to foil an infiltration bid in Kupwara sector killing one militant on Monday.
Army said that it foiled an infiltration bid near Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Army sources said that troopers challenged a group of militants in Machil sector who retaliated triggering an encounter. In the gunfight one militant has been killed so far, they added.
