Suspected militants stormed the Hira Nagar police station in Kuthua district, Thursday morning resulting in the death of six persons. After killing four policemen, the militants escaped unhurt.
Police sources said that the suspected militants in Army uniform stormed the police station and opened fire with automatic weapons resulting in chaos and tension in the area.
Sources said that six persons were killed in the militant firing. Police sources however said that the identification of the killed is yet to be done and nothing can be said about the causalities.
Sources also said that the militants later escaped the scene unhurt despite forces cordon.
