Militants attack army camp in Sajawan Jammu, four injured

At least two Fidayeen militants stormed the family quarters at Sunjwan army camp in Jammu on early Saturday morning resulting in injuring four, including an army man, his daughter and a civilian, reports claimed.

Sources said that five to six militants stormed on 36 Brigade army camp in Sujawan Jammu, JCO family quarters around 5:00 am and firing has been started from both the sides.

An official said that fidayeen’s attacked 36 Brigade army camp in Sunjma Jammu JCO family quarter, adding that militants stormed inside the camp on early morning and started firing from Nala (Toota Baali Khad) side, army family quarters side.

There is a possibility of 5 to 6 militants inside the camp and during the firing, a JCO identified as Madan Lal Choudhary and his daughter is reported to be injured.

Meanwhile, schools within 500 metres of the camp have been asked to stay closed by the district administration.
