A policeman was killed after militants ensnared a police naka party in Handwara area of Kupwara district, northern part of Kashmir on Saturday evening.
Reports quoting officials said that a policeman was critically injured after militants opened fire on a naka party in Chogal area of Handwara.
He was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kareem.
