SRINAGAR: The militants killed in the Anantnag encounter early in the Saturday morning have been identified by the police.
They have been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat district commander LeT, Omar Ameen Bhat of LeT. Both are the residents of Sopat Tangpora of Kulgam district. Sajad Ahmed Bhat of LeT, a resident of Tengbal Frisal and Gulzar Ahmed Bhat affiliated with HM, a resident of Hirpora Tarigam, Kulgam.
According to the police statement two AK 47 rifles, two pistols, ammunition and other incriminating materials have been recovered from the site of encounter.
