SRINAGAR: Two militants killed in a encounter with the counter-insurgent forces in Nowgam area in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday were affiliated with the Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) outfit, an official said.
An official said that the slain militants were identified as Aijaz Rasool Nazar of Pulwama and Shahid Ahmad Ganai son of Gulam Ahmad Ganai resident of Malpora, Budgam.
“They were involved in recent attack on an outside labourer namely Muneer ul Islam from West Bengal on 2/9/22 in Pulwama,” said the official.
