Militants on Saturday evening offered a gun salute to their slain associate on his grave at Eidgah area of Srinagar.
Reports said that militants appeared at the grave of slain Fayaz Ahmed Hamaal of Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit and simultaneously fired shots in the air to offer a gun salute to their colleague.
Hamaal was killed along with his two associates during an encounter between government forces and militants in Chattabal area of Srinagar on Saturday.
A civilian was also killed near the gunfight site during clashes in Noorbagh area of Srinagar.
