Minister of State for Forest, Environment & Ecology, Animal & Sheep Husbandry and Cooperative, Mir Zahoor Ahmad Thursday said the Government is committed to provide accountable and transparent governance to the people.
The Minister said this during interaction with several deputations from Pampore and other parts of Kashmir who called on him in Jammu today, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The Minister gave patient hearing to the issues raised by the deputations and assured them every of possible support from the Government. He exhorted upon the people to cooperate with the administration and take benefit of all the programmes and policies being undertaken for the welfare of the general public.
Referring to the potential of sheep and animal husbandry to generate livelihood, the Minister advised people to avail the benefits of the newly introduced schemes in sheep and animal husbandry departments.
