SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with the Directorate General Border Security Force, is inviting applications for the positions of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic, Assistant Radio Mechanic, HC, Constable, and Sub Inspector/Junior Engineer.

For the position of Assistant Aircraft Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector), applicants must have a 3-year Diploma in the relevant trade recognised by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation or a Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aviation.
Selected applicants will receive a monthly salary at level 05.
For the position of Assistant Radio Mechanic (Assistant Sub Inspector), applicants must have a 3-year Diploma recognised by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering, or a Group “X” Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force. Furthermore, applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or overhauling of communication or navigation equipment fitted in Aircraft or Helicopter held by the Border Security Force.
Selected applicants will receive a monthly salary at level 05.
For the position of Constable (Storeman), applicants must have passed Matriculation with Science or an equivalent qualification. They should also have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in store or warehousing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking, Autonomous Organisation, company, private firm, or Institution. Working knowledge of computers or prior aviation experience is preferable.
Selected applicants will receive a monthly salary at level 03.
For the position of Junior Engineer/Sub-Inspector (Electrical), applicants must have passed a Three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Selected applicants will receive a monthly salary at level 06.
