SRINAGAR: A Class 8th student was killed in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Tuesday, officials said.
Reports said that an accident took place in Sopore when a Class 8 student identified as Azaan Fayaz, son of Fayaz Ahmad of Sidiq Colony Sopore, met with an accident.
They said that Azaan was riding a two-wheeler when he met with the accident.
However, he was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors referred him to a Srinagar medical institution, where he succumbed to his injuries, they added.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of this road mishap.(KS)
