In a tragic incident, a 15-year-old boy on Wednesday was electrocuted to death at Malikpora village of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The deceased boy has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Nabi Malik, a resident of Malikpora in Hajin.
He was repairing some electric wire at his home when he got electrocuted.
“He received a severe electric shock while trying to repair the electric wire and died on spot although the locals shifted him to a nearby hospital as he reached there the doctors declared him brought dead,” a police official said.
