SRINAGAR: A 5-year-old boy died on Thursday after he accidentally fell into an uncovered borewell in Akingam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told news agency KDC that a minor boy identified as Meerab Mudasir son of Mudasir Ahmad Mir, a resident of Akingam village accidentally slipped into an uncovered borewell while he was playing, resulting in his on-spot death.
Meanwhile, the incident has sent shock waves across the whole village.
