JAMMU: A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Gudhal Dhar area of Doda district on Wednesday evening.
An official said that a vehicle bearing registration number JK06B 1517, driven by an unknown driver hit a child, resulting in his on-spot death.
The official identified the deceased child as Mukadar Ahmad, son of Jamshed Ahmad, resident of Gudhal Dhar.
Confirming the incident, a police official said that the body of the child has been taken to GMC Doda for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
“A case has been registered in this regard for further proceedings,” added the official. (News Vibes of India)
