SRINAGAR: A 3-year-old girl on Monday drowned in a stream at Amad Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
A police official, according to news agency GNS, identified the victim as Toiba Jan, daughter of Nazir Ahmad Mir of Amad Ashmuqam Anantnag.
He said the minor was soon rescued from the stream and subsequently shifted to hospital, however, doctors declared her brought dead.
