SRINAGAR: A minor girl died on Sunday morning after she drowned into a local stream at Khansahib area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Quoting official sources the news agency KNO reported that the girl identified as Arifa (3) daughter of Showket Ahmad Najar of Thezwooder drowned when she was playing in the area.
He said that the girl was rescued immediately, however, she had died by then.
He said the body was shifted to SDH Khansahib and investigation has been started into the matter.
