SRINAGAR: Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar on Friday demanded release of Hurriyat Conference (M) leader and cleric Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, who is under house detention since over three years.
Anjuman Auqaf Jamia Masjid in a statement said that for the last 172 Fridays, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, has been facing restrictions and curbs.
The statement severely criticised the administration for its attitude and prolonging the undue curbs on Mirwaiz and said the people are deeply concerned.
