Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Saturday visited Nageen club to inaugurate the Ramzaan Art Expression workshop organized by the Funtoosh group.
While expressing his delight, Mirwaiz said that the new generation was showing keen interests in Islamic art and culture. He said especially the interest in Islamic calligraphy was a welcoming step.
On the occasion, Mirwaiz hailed Funtoosh group for organizing such a workshop saying it would bring forward the talent of youth who want pursue Islamic art and culture as their career.
Mirwaiz stressed upon the organizers that apart from starting professional courses in the field, they should also promote the Islamic art and culture so that the new job opportunities are created for the youth involved in such professions.
